Administrative Issues

• Overhead & Fixed Fee – July 1, 2008 implementation date

– US 301 contracts

• Escalation Costs – CPI use and merit increases

– US 301 contracts

1. Draft minutes were prepared from the 4/18/08 subcommittee meeting and forwarded to attendees for review.

Specific Issues

• Stormwater Management Regulation revisions

1. Emphasis is on water quality and volume management (vs. peak flow).

2. DelDOT issues include standardizing software, survey requirements, formats, etc.

3. ACEC-DE will discuss DNREC Partnering Committee up-dates at quarterly meetings.

• Standards and Regulations for Subdivision Streets and Highway Access training

1. Schedule is not developed at this time

2. Sessions scheduled in each county

3. Multiple sessions will be scheduled limited to approximately 20 individuals per session

4. Half day (9:00 AM – noon) sessions envisioned

General Issues

• CTP Update

1. DelDOT provided Bond Bill Hearing up-date

2. Draft financial plan was discussed

• Future Requests for Consultant Services
• Legislative Issues

1. Bill introduced to provide lighting under all overpass structures

2. Bill introduced to increase allowed truck weights

3. Bill introduced to require stopping at all crosswalks when pedestrians are in the crosswalk on any 2 lane road.
