Re:ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ NCC Special Services Partnering Meeting Minutes July 23, 2007

At 2:00 PM on Monday, July 23, 2007, the NCC Partnering Committee met with New Castle Countyâs Department of Special Services.Ê The following topics were discussed:

1. Sanitary Sewer Design Review Time Frames ö Rob Magnotti is significantly backed up but believes he will soon be caught up to have only a two month backlog.Ê It appears he is spending a considerable amount of time on Right-of-way issues.Ê There is some confusion about the coordination between his review and Land Useâs reviews.Ê Many times he does not get a chance to review Record Plans.

2. Open Space Inspections ö Land Use says their responsibility ends at the 90% turnover.

3. Northern and Southern Sewer ö All of the work, both north and south, is on track and schedule.

4. Specifications ö The last update of the Standard Specifications is dated 1975.Ê Special Services is currently working on updating these specifications.

5. Details ö Rob said he would send us copies of all of the details he has created although they have not all been formally approved. (These details have been forwarded under separate cover)

6. Checklist ö There have been no checklist revisions recently.

7. Customer Service/Walk-in ö Special Services wants to eliminate walk-in service and require appointments.Ê They request that we call Dale Street prior to coming to their office to research information.Ê They are also working on scanning all of their plans to tif files so that we may be able to get sewer plans by email soon.

8. Next Meeting ö Our next meeting is scheduled for October 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM.Ê I will confirm with Special Services.
