The following bills that could impact ACEC member firms or their clients have been introduced.

 

  1. HOUSE BILL NO. 446 ö This Bill would require health insurance carriers in the State of Delaware to continue coverage of adult children under an existing family policy to age 24 provided the adult child is either a resident of Delaware or a full-time student. This Bill is currently in the House Economic Development/Banking and Insurance Committee.
  2. House Bill 444 ö This Bill permits the Court of Chancery to appoint receivers for insolvent public school districts or charter schools. This Bill is currently in the House Education Committee.
  3. House Bill 440 ö This Bill would allow games of chance in the current ãracinosä and in two sites to be identified in the City of Wilmington. This Bill is currently in the House Gaming and Pari-mutuels Committee.
  4. House Bill 437 ö This Bill would allow beer sales in grocery stores. This Bill is currently in the House Business/Corporation/Commerce Committee.
  5. House Bill 416 ö This Bill would convey a portion of the Emily P. Bissell Hospital to New Castle County for flood mitigation projects. This Bill is currently in the House Transportation/Land Use and Infrastructure Committee.Ê
